Senior Vice President, Digital Innovation & Insights, Wells Fargo Home Lending
Brian joined Wells Fargo in September 2015 as the Strategic Planning Manager within the Strategy and Financial Reform team. As the Financial Reform Strategic Planning Manager, Brian is responsible for leading and influencing the development of initiatives based on policy and direction emanating from the regulatory agencies. In this role, Brian drives the execution of Home Lending’s strategic vision through interpretive research and planning in alignment with long term goals and objectives.
In addition to leading the strategy for financial reform, Brian leads strategic initiatives supporting the digitization and innovation efforts focusing on streamlining and simplifying the mortgage process. Recently, he was critical in the implementation of Wells Fargo’s Correspondent program to begin purchasing of eMortgages.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Brian was the Mortgage Markets Originations Program Manager at the CFPB. During his time at the CFPB, Brian played several critical roles across the CFPB - the Mortgage Regulatory Implementation initiative, major rulemakings such as ATR/QM, TILA/RESPA and HMDA. Brian also led the Know Before You Owe Closing Time initiative which focuses on improving the consumer’s experience during the mortgage closing process.
