Course description:

Beginning Encompass Developers start here! This course will present the basics of using Encompass Developer Connect APIs, including the basics of REST, how to obtain an access token, along with touching on how to work with loan data. Students will use Microsoft Visual Studio to make a basic console application to open a loan and read certain data, including specific actions such as: get a list of loans; get a loan; and update a loan. At the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Discuss the motivation for and transition to Encompass Developer Connect
  • Explain the architectural changes that come with Encompass Developer Connect
  • Understand the requirements of executing Encompass Developer Connect calls
  • Review .NET Language Bindings to assist in application development
  • Create a stand-alone application to modify a loan

In this program, we will walk a loan from Origination all the way through Closing.   • Know how that workflow is applied to each Encompass user persona
